Tomorrow, you can be among the first to see the independently made dog film Sniff on the big screen – it’s coming to Toronto tomorrow night only, at the Fox Theatre on Thursday, December 17 at 6:30 pm. Best of all, 10 percent of the proceeds from all DVDs sold after the screening will support Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Sniff is a family oriented hybrid of fiction and documentary. Veteran British actors Neil Morrissey and Richard Huw star as unemployed actors Neil and Richard, who travel from London to San Francisco to work as concierges at Infinite Paws, a high-end dog hotel run by Neil’s old flame Juliette (Amanda Plummer) and her husband Derek ( Maurice Godin). On the job Neil and Richard wear proper suits and giant dog masks, but during off-hours they make a documentary about dogs – dogs that skateboard and surf, guide dogs, search-and-rescue dogs…
Tickets are only $10 general admission, $8.00 for Seniors and kids under 12 -a great deal, and you get to meet the filmmakers AND the dog guides of Oakville, who will be in attendance. Bring the whole family to the Fox Theatre, 2236 Queen Street East, tomorrow night!
